Requesting access to the Capital Budget System
|

|
The Capital Budget System (CBS) uses the LoginMN application for account management and security.
|
|
|
|
|
|
This is a new login process for the 2026 Capital Budget process and therefore all local government staff accessing CBS must create an account and set up security prior to submitting the online CBS local user authorization form.
|

Quick Start Instructions: LoginMN Registration with CBS Authorization:
|

|
1) Click the Sign in / Register button at the top of this page
|
|
|
2) Click Sign up now on the login screen
|
|
|
3) Enter and verify your email address (this must be a work email address to be authorized)
|
|
|
4) Fill out account details
|
|
|
5) Select preferred method of multi-factor authentication
|
|
|
6) Complete and submit the CBS local user authorization request
|
|
|
|
|
Minnesota Management and Budget will review your request and you will receive an email notification once you are authorized.
